Over the past decade, most Masons have heard the name Howie Damron. His music and song writing skills have touched hearts across the country and all over the world. His Masonic compositions have made him a topic of conversations at Masonic Lodges and DeMolay Chapters everywhere. Howie has received many, many awards and honors which include being named "Grand Ambassador of Masonic Music"; an honorary tree planted to commemorate his Masonic Pride Tour on the grounds of the George Washington Masonic Memorial; and Mr. Damron even received his 32nd degree inside the House of the Temple--only the second Mason in History to do so. The first was Brother Harry Truman.

Mr. Damron received Ohio's Grand Masters Community Service Award and Numerous other Masonic recognitions. His career as a Nashville Entertainer has racked up countless Certificates and awards as well. Now, to commemorate his achievements, the Native American made Compound Bow company "Lakota Archery" of South Dakota has given him a fantastic award. The "Masonic Pride Howie Damron Signature Series"--a full line of compound bows.

Brother Howie has spent a lifetime in the news and in the public eye. He has created an Industrial Lubrication product called "NuBricity" which has distributors around the world. Mr. Damron was recently recognized in an International Trade Magazine (Today's Machining World) in December 2010.   The article is titled "The Singing Lubricator".

Howie's creative spirit seems to have no end. Defining what direction he's heading next is next to impossible. In the eyes of our youth he's a real leader and maybe there's a lesson her for us all.  In his own words, "Everyday is meant to be a new adventure and not a new problem to solve. I've never feared failure because I've failed often but I do fear loosing my will to try".

The bows were released early in December and orders are already coming in. For ordering information, please contact
cdamron1@aol.com. The Masonic Pride Tour may soon be coming to an end after many years of motivation through music and song, but Brother Howie will long be remembered by many things. Songs, hunting and fishing shows, NuBricity Industrial Lubricants, jokes and laughter, and now Compound Bows.
